ULTRAGOLD PPC CEMENT
ULTRA GOLD PPC CEMENT is Portland pozolona cement which is a special blended cement useful in general construction work and is especially suitable for applications in aggressive environmental conditions. It can be confidently employed in construction of hydraulic structures, marine works, mass concreting such as dams, retaining walls foundations and sewage pipes. It is also suitable for use in common applications such as masonry mortars and plastering.
Ultragold cement provides improved workability, has less segregation and bleeding, increased water-tightness and reduced tendency of lime to leach out. It produces less heat of hydration and offers greater resistance to the attack of aggressive water containing sulphates and chlorides. It improves the durability of structures and also the strength of concrete over a period of time by making it more corrosion resistant and impermeable. It protects concrete against alkali-aggregate reaction.
PPC is manufactured by inter-grinding 65% of cement clinker with 30% of fly ash and 5% of gypsum in a closed circuit ball mill with a high-efficiency separator to achieve the required fineness.
ADVANTAGES
• Eliminates surface cracks due to low heat of hydration.
• These cement gains compressive strength with age.
• It is highly resistant to sulphates.
• Strength development continues even after 28 days, giving ultimate higher strength to the concreate.
• Improves particle size distribution and gives a perfect concrete matrix.
• Resistant to chemical attack.
• It gives better workability during preparation of concrete.
• It evolves low heat during setting.
• It gains high tensile strength.
• It is resistant to expansion.
• It is cheap and affordable.
AREAS OF APPLICATION
• Residential buildings
• Cement brick manufacturing.
• Construction of all types of buildings in coastal areas.
• Construction of dams, roads and runways.
